SIMPATIC is a rugged On Line Particle Detection tool developed for continuous and intensive use in the pulp and paper process, providing real-time contamination measurement.

Applications and Purpose

The SIMPATIC is designed to monitor and improve process quality by detecting and analyzing various contaminants directly in the pulp stream.

    • Larger dirt or ink particles (identified).

  • Calibration: Includes a calibration chart, focus adjustment, and automatic work-out of real resolution.
  • Data & Software (SPLUNK):
    • Uses SPLUNK Software for data collection which runs under the Windows Operating System.
    • Can be used on multiple user workstations.
    • Provides data history, archives all data, and delivers statistical information.
  • Multi Sampler Relay System (Optional/Accessory): Available to sample multiple streams of pulp, ideal where 100% sampling is not required. Adjustable sample timing and frequency.
